The production line

From cell to module, every step is controlled.

Automation handles the repetition. Our people handle the judgement. Checks sit between the stages, not only at the end.

  1. Incoming inspectionCells, glass and encapsulant checked before they reach the line.
  2. Cell stringingHalf-cells soldered into strings on multi-busbar stringers.
  3. LayupRobotic placement of strings on glass and encapsulant.
  4. Bussing & pre-lamination ELStrings interconnected and imaged before the laminate is closed.
  5. LaminationHeat and vacuum bond the stack into one weather-tight laminate.
  6. Framing & junction boxAnodised frame, sealant and IP68 junction box fitted.
  7. Flash test & final ELEvery module power-classed and imaged again.
  8. Packing & dispatchLabelled, packed and documented under your brand.
Quality checks

Tested before it leaves Vapi.

Every module passes through the same sequence of checks, so a module in your warehouse behaves like the one you approved.

Electroluminescence imaging

EL imaging before and after lamination reveals micro-cracks and soldering faults invisible to the eye.

Flash testing

Each module is measured under a calibrated flash to confirm its power class before it is labelled.

Insulation & hi-pot

Electrical safety checks confirm insulation integrity ahead of packing.

Visual & dimensional

Glass, frame, sealant and junction box are inspected against the approved specification.

Quality & standards

Qualified to international standards.

Our modules are tested to the IEC and BIS standards that developers, EPC partners and financiers ask for, and every module is EL-inspected and flash-tested before it leaves Vapi.
